A three-year-old child was struck by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Felgueiras. The child, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Hospital de São João in Porto.
The Lixa Volunteer Firefighters confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto that the victim was a three-year-old.
The child suffered severe injuries, as stated by the Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Tâmega and Sousa, which also confirmed that the victim was transported to Hospital de São João in Porto.
The incident was reported at 13:14.
On the scene were the Lixa firefighters, the Vale do Sousa Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER), an Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance from Amarante, and the Republican National Guard (GNR) from Lixa.
