Five districts in mainland Portugal will be under a yellow weather warning on Monday due to rain showers, which may be heavy at times and possibly accompanied by hail, thunderstorms, and strong wind gusts, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
Évora, Guarda, Beja, Castelo Branco, and Portalegre are the districts under the yellow warning issued by the IPMA, which will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
The yellow warning, the least severe on a scale of three, is issued whenever there is a risk for specific activities dependent on weather conditions.
