
The winner of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest is set to be announced on Saturday night in Basel, Switzerland. A total of 26 countries are competing, including Portugal with NAPA and the song ‘Deslocado.’ Betting agencies have already weighed in on potential winners.
As reported by the Eurovisionworld website, Sweden has consistently been the favorite since the band KAJ won Melodifestivalen with ‘Bara Bada Bastu,’ a key event on Sweden’s music calendar akin to the Eurovision selection.
Current betting odds suggest Sweden holds a 40% chance of claiming victory. Following are Austria at 20%, France at 13%, Finland at 5%, and the Netherlands at 4%.
Portugal ranks in the 25th position, just ahead of Armenia. Despite bets suggesting otherwise, Portugal did make it to the finals.
The betting community accurately predicted eight of the ten finalists in both the first and second semifinals.

The celebration will conclude with Albania.
