Tony Carreira, The Black Mamba and Bárbara Bandeira perform at Ficavouga

The event, organized by the municipality, promises an immersive experience in the culture, traditions, and vibrancy of Sever do Vouga, combining music, crafts, gastronomy, tourism, and lively entertainment.

Since its inception in 1991, then known as the “Showcase of the Council’s Potential,” Ficavouga has evolved into a fundamental pillar of Severense identity, reflecting the dynamism and richness of the council, according to a municipal note.

The event, with free admission, features a lineup curated for all ages and preferences, highlighting performances by Tony Carreira on July 30, The Black Mamba on July 31, Nenny on August 1, Bárbara Bandeira on August 2, and Karetus on August 3.

The lineup includes other national artists such as Diana Castro, Irma, Soraia Tavares, Bianca Barros, and Rita Rocha, in addition to local talent, featuring bands, philharmonics, traditional music, and folk groups, along with DJ performances.

Crafts will once again have a prominent place with a dedicated area for exhibition and sale, allowing visitors to appreciate the mastery and creativity of the region’s artisans, finding pieces that reflect the cultural heritage of Sever do Vouga.

The event also includes traditional food stalls, complemented by restaurants serving local specialties and bars to accompany the evening festivities.

In addition to musical and gastronomic offers, the event will include a range of cultural, recreational, and sporting activities, providing leisure moments for the whole family and a Children’s Space with activities for young children.
