A 60-year-old woman died on Tuesday after being struck by a tractor on a farm in Meadela, located in the municipality of Viana do Castelo.
A Civil Protection source reported that the emergency services were alerted at 8:55 PM on Tuesday. The response involved dispatching an ambulance from the Viana do Castelo Volunteer Firefighters, an emergency vehicle from the INEM, and two vehicles from the PSP.
The source also confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
