In statements to Lusa, a source from the Porto PSP reported that traffic circulation is obstructed at the AEP and Bessa roundabout viaducts, as well as on the new Campo Alegre viaduct.
On the VCI, at the Boavista exit heading Árrabida/Porto, there was also a closure, but it has now partially reopened, according to the same source.
Besides these incidents, there are no accidents or severe situations to note, the source added.
The Porto Sapadores Firefighters reported over fifty incidents during the night and early morning, mostly related to fallen trees and floods.
“These are situations caused by flooding, which are causing traffic circulation issues,” stated the same source, although noting that “the situation is calming down.”
The Sub-Regional Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area also communicated to Lusa that there are dozens of occurrences, considering them “normal situations” without any significant damage reported.
