The vehicle fire that occurred around 2 a.m. resulted in no casualties, according to a source from the Leiria Sub-Regional Command.
The cargo truck, which was transporting pallets of fruit, caught fire at kilometer 135 before the Leiria exit on the A1 motorway [which connects Lisbon to Porto].
