Train service resumed between Setúbal and Pinhal Novo

The circulation on the rail section between Setúbal and Pinhal Novo was interrupted early this morning, as reported by the transport company’s Facebook page. This incident resulted in delays on other sections due to a command board malfunction, which falls under the infrastructure manager’s responsibility.

Fertagus, the rail service connecting the Lisbon and Setúbal districts, currently operates 14 stations over approximately 54 kilometers of track. Ten of these stations are located on the southern bank of the Tagus River, including Setúbal, Palmela, Venda do Alcaide, Pinhal Novo, Penalva, Coina, Fogueteiro, Foros de Amora, Corroios, and Pragal. The remaining four stations are on the northern bank: Campolide, Sete Rios, Entrecampos, and Roma-Areeiro.
