The sub-concession Autoestradas do Baixo Tejo (AEBT) under Brisa has announced that two access points to the Complementary Itinerary (IC) 20 will be closed this week due to expansion work.
In a statement issued on Monday, Brisa clarified that the connection from A33/IC20 towards Almada will see traffic diverted via the Lazarim junction, heading towards the Funchalinho junction to rejoin the IC20.
At the IC20 exit for Casas Velhas (University), in the Almada-Caparica direction, the detour will be made at the IC20 (Almada) to A33 connection, with a turnaround at the A33 roundabout to proceed to the University destination.
Tonight through to tomorrow, the IC20 will be closed in the direction of Almada-Caparica, between the Hospital and Casas Velhas junctions, with a detour through the local network.
Brisa assured in the note that “alternative routes will be signposted.”
