Three individuals, two men aged 21 and 30, and a woman aged 40, were apprehended on Tuesday for drug trafficking in Oliveira do Bairro, Aveiro district, as announced by the National Republican Guard (GNR) in a statement.
The GNR detailed that this arrest was part of a year-long investigation, which has now led not only to the arrests but also to the confiscation of various items during 12 searches. These included 2,610 doses of hashish, 430 doses of MDMA, six mobile phones, two scales, drug cutting and packaging material, and 1,080 euros in cash.
The detainees are scheduled for an initial judicial hearing on Wednesday, April 23, where the appropriate preventive measures will be determined.
