Arrests occurred at 00:15 on Wednesday when a PSP patrol in the parish of Penha de França became aware of a robbery involving physical force and coercion of the victim.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 20, were detected and approached minutes later on Avenida Almirante Reis as they prepared to flee in a TVDE vehicle.
The detainees were found with bank cards taken from the victim.
The young individuals were presented to the judiciary authority, with two being placed in preventive custody, the stricter measure, and the other subject to weekly reporting.
