Trovante announce two more dates for March in Lisbon and Porto

The group has announced an additional concert on March 20 at the Meo Arena in Lisbon, a day before the already scheduled performance on March 21. In Porto, at the Pavilhão Rosa Mota, Trovante will perform on March 27, the day before the sold-out concert on the 28th.

The Portuguese band is reuniting for a live show titled ‘Living Everything in One Night,’ inspired by a line from one of Trovante’s most famous songs, ‘Memórias de um Beijo.’

Formed in 1976, the band dissolved in 1990, the year their last original album, ‘Um Destes Dias,’ was released, but they have occasionally reunited since. One of the most recent reunions was at the O Sol da Caparica festival in 2017.

According to Sons em Trânsito, “for Luís Represas, João Gil, Manuel Faria, Artur Costa, Fernando Júdice, António José Martins, José Salgueiro, and João Nuno Represas, all of whom have established successful careers individually or in other projects, this represents a natural—and eagerly anticipated—reactivation of a unique and memorable collaboration that always left a longing, if only for the future.”

Trovante is known for songs such as ‘Namoro II,’ ‘125 azul,’ ‘Perdidamente,’ ‘Timor,’ ‘Saudade,’ ‘Balada das sete saias,’ and ‘Fizeram os dias assim.’

The group’s history is detailed in the book ‘Trovante – Por Detrás do Palco,’ written by Manuel Faria and published in 2003.
