The GNR reported in a statement that the arrest of a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman led to the seizure of 3,290 doses of hashish, 15 doses of cocaine, and 14 doses of MDMA.
“As part of an investigation into drug trafficking that had been ongoing in that municipality for about a year, the military conducted police operations that resulted in the execution of two arrest warrants and 11 searches, including four residential, four warehouse, and three vehicle searches,” detailed the police force.
The detainees appeared at the Judicial Court of Torre de Moncorvo, in the district of Bragança, where they were subjected to weekly reporting measures at police stations in their areas of residence.
