In an official statement, the Judiciary Police announced the seizure of cocaine originating from a South American country. The drug’s extreme purity is noted, with the potential to produce at least 200,000 individual doses if it had entered illicit distribution channels.
The arrests, conducted by the National Unit for Combating Drug Trafficking, were part of ongoing investigations aimed at preventing and repressing the introduction of narcotics into national territory by air.
The two foreign nationals arrested will be brought before a judge for a preliminary hearing to determine bail conditions as the investigation, led by the Judiciary Police, continues.
