Two firefighters and a civilian were injured this Monday afternoon after the ambulance they were in crashed on the A4 highway, in the Amarante-Porto direction, in Paredes.
The three individuals, who sustained minor injuries, were transported to the Hospital de Penafiel, as confirmed by Notícias ao Minuto with the Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
The same source noted that the alert was issued at 3:38 PM, involving an ambulance from the Santo Tirso Volunteer Firefighters.
Nine personnel were on-site, accompanied by five vehicles.
