A collision between a car and a tow truck on National Road 1 (EN1) in Carvalhos, Vila Nova de Gaia, resulted in two minor injuries on Saturday afternoon, confirmed the Volunteer Firefighters of Carvalhos to Notícias ao Minuto.
Emergency teams received the alert at 1:55 PM. By around 5:00 PM, the EN1 was still closed in both directions for “road cleaning,” with no estimated time for reopening.
The two injured individuals were transported to Santos Silva Hospital in Vila Nova de Gaia.
On-site are the Carvalhos Firefighters, with 13 personnel and five vehicles, accompanied by the National Republican Guard (GNR).
