E-REDES announced a series of scheduled interruptions for Sunday, November 9, affecting seven municipalities to conduct “localized work on the distribution network.”
Maintaining the continuity and quality of electricity supply is E-REDES’s priority. To achieve this, we carry out localized work on the distribution network, requiring the temporary interruption of electricity supply to customers. These interruptions involve maneuvers, connection works, repairs, or network infrastructure maintenance when all possibilities for alternative supply from existing installations have been exhausted, the company explained in a statement published on their website.
E-REDES, aware of the impact of these actions on customers, employs procedures and work methods aimed at avoiding supply interruptions and, when necessary, minimizing their duration. For safety reasons, installations should be considered under tension during the intervention period, the statement added.
The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) disclosed last week that it is conducting three national inspection actions: Equality and Non-discrimination, High-risk Activities, and Promotion of Pay Equality between Women and Men.
A statement on the official website explains each of these actions.
