
The Setúbal Territorial Command of the GNR announced that the suspects were detained by Sines Territorial Post military personnel during a “random road check.”
During the operation, GNR officers approached the driver of a vehicle who displayed “suspicious behavior and signs of nervousness.”
The GNR reported that police investigations confirmed the driver and the passenger were in possession of narcotics.
The undertaking resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of 241.4 doses of cocaine, a firearm, two license plates, three mobile phones, a precision scale, and 105 euros in cash.
The detainees were formally charged, and the facts have been communicated to the Judicial Court of Sines.
