Two officers of the Public Security Police (PSP) were injured in a collision involving two light vehicles in Viana do Castelo on Tuesday afternoon.
The PSP in Viana do Castelo confirmed that the two officers were in an unmarked car and therefore on duty when the accident occurred at around 2:25 p.m. on Rua das Rosa, in Darque, Viana do Castelo.
The two men were injured, though not seriously, and were transported to the hospital in Viana do Castelo, where they are currently receiving medical care.
Emergency teams from INEM, the Viana do Castelo Fire Department, and PSP were present at the scene.
