The PSP announced that in the first incident, a 48-year-old man was detained on suspicion of assaulting his 30-year-old girlfriend “with punches to the face” and restraining her by the limbs to prevent her from leaving the vehicle.
“The victim, with the car door open, was shouting and trying to exit,” the text highlights, noting that the assault occurred “in front of several witnesses.”
In the second incident, the PSP reports, a 45-year-old suspect allegedly assaulted his 42-year-old partner “inside a stationary vehicle in the middle of the road,” causing bruises on her face.
Both suspects were presented to judicial authorities, with weekly appearances imposed on the first detainee as a preventive measure, and an identity and residence term for the second.
