In a statement, the Coimbra Territorial Command of the GNR announced the arrest of two men, aged 18 and 19, by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Cantanhede.
The GNR of Coimbra clarified that “as part of an investigation into drug trafficking, its officers conducted police operations that resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence.”
The operation led to the seizure of various items, including 6,854 doses of hashish, 3,850 euros in cash, 231 bags for packaging individual drug doses, four precision scales, four mobile phones, two knives, and two nitrous oxide canisters.
The detained individuals will be brought before the Judicial Court of Cantanhede for the imposition of appropriate precautionary measures.
The operation was supported by the Specific Victims Support and Investigation Unit of the Coimbra Territorial Command.
