
Two young men lost their lives, and a girl was injured following a car accident on the Estrada Nacional 13 (EN 13) in Moledo, Caminha, early Saturday morning, confirmed by the Command of the Alto Minho Sub-Region.
The deceased are two males, aged 18 and 17, while the injured is a 15-year-old girl who was transported to the Hospital of Viana do Castelo with minor injuries.
The alert was raised at 1:13 AM, with nine vehicles deployed to the scene, including the Vila Praia de Âncora Fire Department, Caminha Fire Department, National Republican Guard, and the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM).
Response efforts included an Immediate Life Support Ambulance (SIV), a Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER), and a Mobile Psychological Emergency Unit (UMIPE).
Details concerning the accident’s circumstances remain unclear.
The EN 13, known as the Estrada do Minho, connects Viana do Castelo to Caminha.
