The Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra, winners of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, will return to Portugal in 2026 with two scheduled concerts: one in Lisbon and the other in Porto.
Led by rapper Oleh Psiuk, Kalush Orchestra will perform on February 4, 2026, at Lisboa ao Vivo in the Portuguese capital and the following day, February 5, at the Hard Club in Porto. Ticket prices range from 35 to 39 euros.
The band’s European tour kicks off on January 18 in Lublin, Poland, and will include performances in countries such as Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Malta, and Belgium.
Following their European tour, the Ukrainian band, established six years ago, will head to North America, with concerts scheduled between March 4 and 22 across various cities in the United States and in Calgary and Toronto, Canada.
Kalush Orchestra triumphed at Eurovision in 2022, shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, with the song ‘Stefania’, garnering a total of 631 points: 192 from the jury and 439 from the public.
‘Stefania’ was initially written as a tribute to Oleh Psiuk’s mother but became perceived as an anthem for the motherland and a protest against the war.
“Although there isn’t a single word about the war in the song, many people began associating it with Mother Ukraine. Additionally, society started calling it an anthem of our war,” the band stated when they released the music video, which was shot in various locations across the war-torn country.
After performing at Eurovision, Psiuk called for “help” for his country, as well as for the city of Mariupol and the Azovstal steel plant, where approximately a thousand Ukrainian soldiers are entrenched.
The Ukrainian band previously performed at Casino Estoril in Cascais, in December 2022.
