
The city of Figueira da Foz is set to host the 73rd-anniversary celebrations of the Portuguese Air Force from June 28 to July 6, as announced this Sunday.
The celebrations aim to invigorate the city through a series of military, scientific, cultural, recreational, and sporting activities.
The objective is to showcase the aerospace capabilities of the Air Force while also fostering a closer connection with the local community, stated the Air Force in an official communication.
The commemoration will feature unique and identity-focused moments, along with lighthearted and relaxed events through various cultural, sporting, and recreational events.
The Air Force Band is scheduled to perform at various moments and locations, bringing its magic and linking music to military culture, thus providing unique experiences.
Figueira da Foz will be the stage for the 73rd anniversary celebrations of the Air Force! 🇵🇹

There will also be aerospace, nursing, psychology, and other seminars, which will provide a platform for specialists in these fields to discuss current critical topics.
Established on July 1, 1952, the Portuguese Air Force annually celebrates its anniversary in different locations, mainly where their “physical presence is not permanent, allowing them to reach all citizens”.
