The festival launched in 2022, which blends music, gastronomy, and wine, will this year feature two international music stars alongside renowned national artists and emerging talents. The performances are set to take place over two days at the Porto Comercial de Cambres.
On the first day, July 4, the lineup includes performances by Vanessa da Mata, David Fonseca, S. Pedro, Nena, and Joana Almirante, who will present the project ‘2 Pares de Botas’.
Headlining the event on July 5 is James Morrison, with additional performances by Os Quatro e Meia, João Só with Carolina de Deus, and Mónica Teotónio and Margarida.
The festival’s fourth edition will be held in a “scenic setting, nestled between the vineyards and the Douro River,” on the Lamego bank, offering “a privileged view of Peso da Régua,” according to a statement by the organizers.
In addition to music, the festival will feature “dozens of wine producers and hundreds of wine labels,” along with prominent names from the regional wine and culinary scenes. The event will also include showcooking sessions and sensory experiences, aiming to offer “a unique festival experience.”
Previous editions of the Douro & Porto Wine Festival have hosted artists such as Michael Bolton, Gipsy Kings, Nik Kershaw, Joss Stone, UB40, Corinne Bailey Rae, Vance Joy, Judi Jackson, and Sid Sriram.
The Douro & Porto Wine Festival is a registered trademark of the Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto, aiming to promote wines from the Douro and Porto demarcated region.
Tickets for this fourth edition are priced between 30 euros for a one-day pass and 45 euros for a two-day pass.
