“It increasingly seems that Admiral Gouveia e Melo is the PS candidate; he is the PS candidate against the right-wing candidate,” criticized André Ventura, who also leads Chega.
Continuing his criticism, the presidential candidate suggested Gouveia e Melo is “the candidate of emptiness, the candidate of everything is fine in the north and south and everything is fine in the sky and on earth.”
Ventura assured that, if elected, he would be a President of the Republic advocating causes and not “empty talk and nonsense.”
“I am not a candidate like the others who spin yarns to people and confuse them,” he emphasized.
According to André Ventura, the admiral cannot merely agree with everything, whether it is left, right, center, north, or south.
The presidential candidate argued that the significant difference between himself and the admiral is that Gouveia e Melo echoes everything the PS and PSD have said in recent years.
“Indeed, the people in his candidacy confirm this,” he highlighted.
