Those who need to be called will be summoned, whether they are former government officials or leaders of the Ministries of Internal Administration and Civil Protection, everyone who bears responsibility,” he stated.
André Ventura was speaking to journalists in the municipality of Santiago do Cacém, district of Setúbal, on the sidelines of an initiative to collect food for animals affected by the fires in the northern and central regions of the country, promoted by Chega with the support of local producers.
“We will not allow the impression to linger that someone was afraid to carry out this investigation or that the Parliament was afraid to conduct this investigation,” he emphasized, promising to submit a mandatory request to force the establishment of the inquiry committee.
