A video filmed by three influencers suspected of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Loures garnered 32,000 views on the social media platform where it was shared. No one reported the incident to the authorities.
The footage, as noted, suggests that the minor initially consented to the sexual acts but eventually asked for them to stop—at which point the assault continued. The identities of those involved were not discernible in the videos.
It is worth noting that three young men were arrested on March 24 in Loures, Lisbon district, on suspicions of aggravated sexual assault and child pornography against a 16-year-old, as reported by the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) three days later.
The investigation was triggered by a complaint from Hospital Beatriz Ângelo in Loures to the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP). The incident took place in February near the victim’s home, according to a PJ statement.
In addition to sexually assaulting the adolescent, the young men, aged 17 to 19, recorded the crime and distributed it on social media.

According to João Oliveira, director of the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo branch of the PJ, the three detained individuals are influencers with a “significant audience.”
The 16-year-old was a follower of the suspects on social media. She initially interacted with them online before agreeing to meet in person.
According to the PJ, the young men “coerced the victim into sexual acts in a group setting, recorded them against her will, and posted them on social media.”
The suspects, aged between 17 and 19, appeared before a judicial hearing and were released on conditions including weekly check-ins and a prohibition on contacting the victim.
Three young men were detained on charges of aggravated sexual assault and child pornography. The crime was recorded and disseminated by the trio on social media.

The court handling the case later stated that the imposed conditions are “proportional and adequate”, aligning with the prosecutor’s request.
“Following the interrogation, and based on the available evidence, the defendants were subjected to non-custodial measures by the criminal instruction court, as recommended by the prosecutor. These measures were deemed proportional and appropriate for the cautionary purposes they aim to serve,” reads an explanation provided.
