A team of pre-hospital emergency responders from the Volunteer Firefighters of Vila do Bispo encountered an unexpected situation while returning to their station—a turtle on the roadway.
This incident was highlighted by the well-known firefighter support page ‘Soldados da Paz’ on Wednesday.
“A Pre-Hospital Team from the Vila do Bispo Volunteer Firefighters was on its way back to the station when it came across a terrestrial turtle on the public road,” stated the caption of the publication, which included a photograph of the animal.
The firefighters safely relocated the turtle to a place near where it was found, and toward its apparent direction of travel, according to the page.
