A 26-year-old man was detained on Monday to serve a sentence for the crimes of aggravated robbery and the damage or theft of a document and technical notation, committed in 2020.
The suspect, who had been sought since June of the previous year when he was sentenced to three years in prison, was apprehended at the Campanhã Intermodal Terminal in Porto, as reported by the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) in a statement.
The man was intercepted “upon arrival from a trip originating in France, where he had been living as an emigrant,” according to the same source.
The individual “offered no resistance” and was subsequently transferred to the jurisdiction of the Porto Prison to serve his sentence.
