Four districts are currently under a yellow weather alert from noon to 6 PM due to heavy and persistent rainfall.
The yellow alert, the least severe on a three-tier scale, is issued when there is a risk to certain activities that are dependent on weather conditions.
The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts a drop in temperature today, particularly the maximum temperature, with a marked decrease in the interior, along with rain and westerly winds, occasionally strong along the coastal areas and in highlands.
The minimum temperatures are expected to range from 4 degrees Celsius in Guarda to 13 in Sagres, while maximum temperatures will vary from 10 degrees in Guarda to 19 in Faro and Sagres.
