
The National Republican Guard (GNR) has named a 28-year-old woman as a defendant following an investigation into aggravated residential theft in Monção on June 4.
“As part of an investigation into qualified residential theft, Guard officers conducted several investigative steps that led to the identification and location of the suspect,” according to a security force statement released on Friday.
Following police procedures, the GNR carried out two searches, one at a residence and another in a vehicle, resulting in the suspect being named a defendant.
Seized items included 1,800 euros in cash, a bank card, a gold ring, a bottle of perfume, and a pair of shoes.
The incident has been reported to the Judicial Court of Monção.
