A 47-year-old woman was arrested by the National Republican Guard (GNR) on October 15 in Mafra, on suspicion of drug trafficking and illegal possession of a weapon.
The GNR stated in a communiqué that, as part of a three-month investigation into drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, operations were conducted “which resulted in executing a home search warrant.”
Authorities seized 20 rounds of ammunition, an alarm gun, and a cannabis plant.
The detainee was formally charged, and the case was sent to the Judicial Court of Sintra.
