A 50-year-old woman was hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a car in Monção, Viana do Castelo district.
The alert was issued at 2:23 p.m., and the incident occurred at Praça da República, in the village center, as reported by the Monção Volunteer Firefighters.
The woman sustained minor injuries but was transported to Hospital de Santa Luzia in Viana do Castelo.
Four firefighters and two National Republican Guard officers were present at the scene.
