A 36-year-old woman was arrested last Saturday, August 30, in the Coimbra area by the Public Security Police (PSP) on suspicion of physical assault.
The PSP reported receiving a complaint indicating the presence of “several individuals” inside an “unoccupied residence” without the owners’ permission.
Officers arrived at the scene where “one of the heirs of the said house” stated he had encountered “the suspect inside, along with other individuals who fled.”
The suspect allegedly assaulted the individual upon realizing his presence, causing injuries that required hospital treatment.
Despite the incident, the “victim managed to restrain the suspect” until the PSP arrived, leading to her arrest.
