
A woman was rescued today from the Tagus River near Parque das Nações in Lisbon, though the causes of the incident remain unknown, the National Maritime Authority (AMN) announced in a statement.
The victim was transported in serious condition to a hospital.
The alert was issued at 1:34 PM by the Lisbon Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC Lisbon), and the Lisbon Local Command of the Maritime Police, as well as the city’s Fire Department and the Maritime Police Psychology Office, were mobilized.
