Workers of TiN maintain an indefinite strike until they are paid

During today’s plenary, “we approved the continuation of the strike for an indefinite period by a wide majority,” stated Clara Teixeira, noting that out of the 55 people present, 44 voted in favor.

Workers have been on strike for a week since June 20 and vow to continue until they are paid overdue wages: 75% of May’s salary, meal allowances for May and June, and holiday subsidies.

“We will continue as long as it takes until we are paid,” emphasized the union delegate.

Despite the strike, the magazine Caras was released to the stands one day late, and the magazine Visão was released on the scheduled day, albeit in a reduced version.

Founded in 2017, TiN owns 16 media outlets in print and digital platforms.
