The Porto City Council has announced that maintenance works will affect several tunnels, including Goelas de Pau, Faria Guimarães, Campo Alegre, Almadas, Antas I and II, and Ribeira. These works will result in traffic restrictions such as complete closures or lane narrowing.
Starting Wednesday at 10:00 PM until Thursday at 6:00 AM, the Goelas de Pau Tunnel will be closed to traffic. Similarly, from November 17 at 10:00 PM to November 18 at 6:00 AM, the Faria Guimarães Tunnel will be closed.
On November 20 from 10:00 PM to November 21 at 6:00 AM, traffic will be restricted with lane narrowing on the underpass of Rua Airosa, and the Campo Alegre Tunnel will be closed completely.
The Almadas Tunnel will be closed to traffic on November 24, 25, and 26 from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The Antas I and Antas II Tunnels will face a traffic ban from December 2 to December 4, and again on December 9 and 10, both periods from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The Ribeira Tunnel will experience lane narrowing during the night of December 9 to 10.
The municipality confirms that traffic and parking restrictions at the Ribeira Tunnel and Rua Airosa will be monitored by the PSP Traffic Division or Municipal Police. During these restrictions, traffic should be allowed to flow from east to west on Rua de Ceuta.
Traffic restrictions at Antas I and Antas II Tunnels will be conducted alternately.
The municipality emphasizes that stopping or parking vehicles on sidewalks or pedestrian areas is prohibited.
