A suspect was detained on Thursday following an arrest warrant, according to a statement from the PJ (Judiciary Police).
On July 10, for trivial reasons, the detainee allegedly lured the victim near his residence in Senhora da Hora, Matosinhos, and fired four shots in the victim’s direction, the PJ explained.
The shots struck the victim in the arm and leg, the PJ added.
The detainee, who has a criminal record for possessing a prohibited weapon, will face a preliminary judicial interrogation.
