A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Vila Real on suspicion of raping two female students, aged 18 and 19, between July and October this year, the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) announced on Friday in a statement sent to Notícias ao Minuto.
Investigators indicated that the assaults allegedly occurred in various locations throughout the city of Vila Real following “nighttime leisure activities.”
The detainee will now be brought before a judge for an initial hearing to determine appropriate legal measures.
