A young man was found dead on a public street in Lavradio, Barreiro, on the night of Monday, October 13, confirmed a source from the District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) of Setúbal. The alarm was raised at 10:55 p.m., and the scene saw the presence of 17 personnel and several vehicles from the fire brigade, VMER, INEM, Public Security Police (PSP), and Judicial Police (PJ).
The young man’s body, believed to be that of a 19-year-old, was found on Rua Maria Matos. Initial indications suggest he was shot. A source from the fire brigade stated the young man had no identification on him, only a mobile phone and some keys.
Death was declared at the scene by a VMER team, and the case is currently under investigation by the authorities.
