A 21-year-old woman allegedly attacked another woman, aged 22, with a knife early Saturday morning in Coimbra. According to the Coimbra Public Security Police (PSP), the incident occurred at 6:40 a.m. on Rua de Tomar, Coimbra.
“The suspect involved in the aggression is a 21-year-old woman, who used a knife to attack a 22-year-old woman,” the same source stated, adding that the victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Coimbra Hospital and University Center.
The alleged assailant was later intercepted and identified by authorities, who determined that the legal prerequisites necessary for detention were not met.
Notícias ao Minuto has learned that the disagreement between the two originated inside the NB Club Coimbra nightclub, with the assault occurring outside the venue. It is also known that the altercation involved a large group of people, in addition to the two women mentioned by authorities.
The reason for the disagreement is unknown.
