The Public Security Police (PSP) located a missing 15-year-old girl on Wednesday who had disappeared in November from an institution in Porto.
In a statement sent to the press on Saturday, the Lisbon Metropolitan Command of the PSP reported that the girl was found at Gare do Oriente at 10:40 am on June 11.
The teenager had vanished from the Center for Child and Youth Welfare of the Heart of Jesus, based in Porto, in November 2024 and has now been returned to the institution.
The Public Transport Security Division emphasizes that it “maintains continuous and rigorous surveillance on railway and Lisbon Metro public transport networks to ensure the protection and tranquility of passengers and their belongings.”
