An accident occurred on the Estrada Nacional (EN) 10 in the União das Freguesias de Azeitão (São Lourenço e São Simão) at around 16:00, as stated by the Sub-Regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of the Setúbal Peninsula. A doctor from Setúbal’s emergency medical vehicle (VMER) declared the death on-site.
The rescue operations involved 10 personnel from the Setúbal Volunteer Firefighters, the National Institute for Medical Emergency (INEM), and GNR military officers, supported by four vehicles, including an INEM ambulance and the Setúbal VMER.
