The PSP in Porto seized 60,900 cigarettes without a tax stamp and 143 kilos of ground tobacco from an establishment in Lapa, Porto, the police announced today.
In a statement, the PSP said that, in addition to the tobacco, it seized 20,180 euros.
As part of this enforcement action to combat the illegal sale of tobacco, which took place on Thursday, the PSP also identified two men, aged 36 and 49.
These two men are a businessman and a shopkeeper who live in Rio Tinto, in the municipality of Gondomar, and in Porto, he said.
