The National Road 370 (EN370) is closed in the area of Graça do Divor, Évora municipality, due to a collision that occurred this morning between three vehicles, resulting in five injuries, as revealed by Civil Protection.
A source from the Alentejo Central Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command explained to Lusa news agency that the accident involved two passenger cars and a tractor, causing “four serious injuries and one minor injury.”
The incident, for which authorities were alerted at 8:22 AM, occurred at kilometer 72 of EN370, which connects Évora to Arraiolos.
Traffic is cut off in both directions of the road in that area, in Graça do Divor, said the same source. The GNR Territorial Command of Évora confirmed to Lusa that road circulation is interrupted “in the area of the Valeira intersection.”
Around 9:10 AM, the accident victims were still at the scene, added the Civil Protection source.
A total of 21 operatives were mobilized, supported by nine vehicles, including resources from firefighters, GNR, National Institute of Medical Emergency, with a medical emergency and resuscitation vehicle (VMER), and Infraestruturas de Portugal.
