Access to the e-invoice feature of the Finance Portal has been experiencing problems, with taxpayers trying to validate their invoices being unable to do so “for technical reasons”.
“For technical reasons we are unable to respond to your request. Please try again later” is the message that appears on the personal pages of many of the taxpayers who tried to validate their invoices this morning, the last day to do so.
In view of the reported access constraints, Lusa questioned the Ministry of Finance about the reason and whether an extension of the deadline for validating invoices is being considered, but has not yet received a reply.
Invoice validation is one of the necessary steps in preparing the annual IRS tax return and today is the last day of the deadline for taxpayers to check, register or resolve any outstanding invoices.
