A 75-year-old man died on Sunday following a fire in a residence on Avenida 5 de Outubro, Lisbon, confirmed by the Regimento de Sapadores Bombeiros.
According to the same source, upon arrival at the scene, the fire was already extinguished and the door was open, with the operatives performing only ventilation maneuvers.
The alert was given at 1:46 PM.
A total of ten operatives were deployed from the Regimento de Sapadores Bombeiros, supported by three vehicles.
The National Institute of Medical Emergencies (INEM) and the Public Security Police (PSP) were also present at the scene.
