The National Road (EN) 321 between Cinfães and Castro Daire, in the district of Viseu, has been closed to traffic since 04:45 due to snow, a source from the Viseu Dão Lafões Sub-regional Command of Civil Protection told Lusa.
According to the same source, the alternative is via the EN 222, which connects Resende to Peso da Régua.
The accesses to the Serra da Estrela massif have all been closed to traffic since Friday because of the snow, confirmed the sub-regional command for Beiras and Serra da Estrela of the National Civil Protection and Emergency Authority.
The only exceptions are the stretches between Seia and Sabugueiro and Covilhã-Penhas da Saúde.
