According to the artist’s management, the concert is scheduled for November 25 at Casa da Música, following previously announced performances in Lisbon on October 31 and November 1 at Centro Cultural de Belém. These events currently offer only tickets for wheelchair users and their companions.

The album ‘Beats Vol.1: Amor’, featuring 17 tracks, is conceived as the “soundtrack of Sam The Kid’s parents’ relationship: from the initial surprise and curiosity phase, through the breakup and regret, to the love that lives forever.”
“This work, through its titles and interludes, provides clues that unfold the sonic narrative made up of samples of jazz, soul, MPB, funk, or Portuguese music that Sam combines with his extensive archive of conversations and moments from friends, family, and strangers – such as conversations of seduction and the heartbeat itself – or even excerpts from television shows he has kept over the years without a specific purpose,” according to Faded, the agency and producer of the event.
Samuel Mira, known as Sam The Kid, hails proudly from the neighborhood of Chelas in Lisbon, boasting a 25-year career that began in 1999 with the release of his debut album ‘Entre(tanto)’.
This was followed by releases such as ‘Sobre(tudo)’, ‘Beats Vol.1 – Amor’ (instrumental) in 2002, and ‘Pratica(mente)’ in 2006.
Since ‘Sobre(tudo)’, the rapper and producer has been involved with Orelha Negra, Mundo Segundo from Dealema, launched projects such as Classe Crua (with Beware Jack) and Vludo (with Blasph), and contributed to tracks by artists like Bispo, Regula, Mind Da Gap, and Bob Da Rage Sense.
In a 2019 interview with Lusa, he mentioned that despite being “very solitary” in the creative process, he found a sense of purpose in collaboration, appreciating how each person could contribute their best skills.
He eventually created the platform TV Chelas, which hosts podcasts like ‘Três Pancadas’, and ‘Assim ou Assado’, interviews, videos, and a store managed by him where he sells albums and merchandise.
